Everywhere you go the cloud is looming. You hear about it at conferences, industry events and even in your office from employees wondering aloud why you aren’t on the cloud. You read about it online, in press releases and in industry publications. You understand the concept and like the idea, but is the cost worth it? In fact what does it cost?

The cloud is not for every business, if you are running a multinational public company and have billions of dollars at your disposal then you might consider other options, likely to be much more expensive, less efficient and not as secure, of course in that case it’s not your money. But, if you are reading this then you are likely a sensible business person with a need to make a sensible business choice about how to wisely spend your money and invest in your company’s future.
